THE LOST WORLD WAS TRUE,
PEOPLE!
Arthur Conan Doyle told us a story. But not in
The Lost World. His fairy story was when he told us
it wasnt true.
Doyle was best friends with Edmund Dean Morel
and Roger Casement. They were in the Congo when Belgium had their
forced labor camps there. But they saw more than that.
For centuries, the Congo has been home to the
dinosaur Mokele Mbembe. You dont have to be Sherlock
Holmes to figure this out. Doyle based his next two books on what
Morel told him. The first was a report on killings in the Congo.
The next one talked about dinosaurs but hid the truth as fiction.
Why? Put yourself in Morel and Casements shoes. If you wanted
people to take you seriously and help you save millions of lives,
would you tell them you had found dinosaurs? That would be a good
way to get arrested.
Why would Doyle do it? After years and years of
writing about Sherlock Holmes, he was desperate for a new story.
Wouldnt you be? And if you knew of a place where dinosaurs
really existed, why would be any less protective of it than Doyles
character Professor Challenger?
Why didnt they tell afterwards? Why would
they? So Doyle could ruin his reputation? Its a moot point
because Morel and Casement died very conveniently before they could
talk. Of course, you wont hear any of this from all the people
making Lost World TV series and movies. A&E even has a disclaimer
saying their Lost World movie is just a work of
fiction. Well, weve got the trailer and weve made
a few adjustments to show just how much stranger than fiction truth
really is!

Is
it a dinosaur? If it isnt, what the hell is it?

In 1976 a pterodactyl bone found in Petworth, UK was dated to have
been from 1908! (For those slow on the uptake, Petworth is right
along the direct flight path a frightened pterodactyl would take
from London to the Congo.) But you never heard about it.

Check out this actual footage from the Congo depicting a Congo
dinosaur devouring fruit from a tree. Bet it tastes better than
the lies and B.S. weve had to eat for 80 years!
